Special MEETING in July

The Club was started in 2012 by Jerry Granok and Joan Mieritz with a division of responsibility of Jerry being in charge of telescopes.  He had several scopes of his own and really enjoyed working with telescopes. He did a great job for many years.  I know that many people remember him being at Chimney Rock and at other events especially with his Solar Telescope.  After a long illness and decline, he died in November 2023.  No one in the club has stepped up to take over his responsibilities.

 Joan heard about  Steve McCalister pre-covid and invited him to come to Pagosa for valuable educational time.  Steve is planning on working with the club in July17 and 18.
